Our curriculum focuses on:

A research-based approach to learning
-
Experiences that involve hands-on learning
-
Creating a conducive learning environment
-
Creativity & Expression
-
A customized learning experience
Teachers place a lot of emphasis on the Play-way method in the Preprimary classes. Children learn best through games, which are an integral part of every classroom. To reinforce learning, teachers use flashcards and digital media content. Developing vocabulary is accomplished through songs and rhymes.
At the Primary level, students learn through experiential learning, play, and activities. NCERT guidelines guide the curriculum, which focuses on laying the foundations for knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will guide young learners for the rest of their lives. The focus is on conceptual clarity and developing thinking and analytical skills by relating learning to everyday life.
Methodology
Dreams are the architects of life in an unprecedented way. To foster student-centric learning for holistic growth, A Global India School emphasizes the development of in-depth insight, critical thinking, and a responsive attitude to the world around, decisively and logically.
PRE-PRIMARY
We have adopted a curriculum that emphasizes the child's curiosity and combines learning with fun, our curriculum is child-centric. An environment that encourages children to learn at their own pace is created in which they can work cooperatively and at their own pace. Learning and development are enhanced through exposure to Art, Aesthetics, Communication, and Physical Health. Children's personalities are shaped in a balanced manner, where their creativity is released, where academic excellence is achieved along with developing life skills, as well as honing other requisite behaviors.
PRIMARY
Primary classes focus less on textbooks than on skills, creativity, and attitude, which are challenged and enhanced periodically. Hands-on learning experiences are facilitated through inquiry-based approaches, which facilitate individual and group work. As part of our primary education, we give our students the courage they need to be the best and the skills they need to lead in the future.
SECONDARY
We embrace a reflective approach while integrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) into our classrooms. A project-based learning approach emphasizes skill development so that students can acquire practical knowledge. Through the development of constitutional values and ideas of personal freedom and responsibility, students are empowered to pursue what they are passionate about on their terms.
Continuous Assessment
Students are constantly evaluated using a variety of evaluating tools to gauge their intellectual and creative abilities, as well as their behavioral traits.
Generally, assessments can be divided into three categories – Diagnostic, Formative & Summative.
The weekly cycle tests and application-based formative assessments, followed by counseling sessions to enhance performance, help students overcome hurdles in their learning.
As a means of overcoming learning difficulties, students are encouraged to engage in simple, non-graded activities in class.
Keeping parents informed about their children's progress is a priority. Having regular Parent-Teacher Meetings provides an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with parents, to discuss the learning process, concerns, and hopes regarding their child's future.
